I am pleased to announce the results of the 2016 Alabama Law Enforcement Explorer Association competition in which Explorer Post #511 attended. This competition consisted of approximately 10 different law enforcement agencies from across the southeast and approximately 25 teams competed. Our unit was separated into two teams of three and four cadets each. Team 1 drew Hostage Negotiations and Burglary in Progress where they placed FIRST overall in both categories!!! Team 2 competed in Hostage Negotiations and Traffic Crash Investigations where they placed third overall in Hostage Negotiations.
