To All:
As a veteran, Memorial Day is one tough day. The honor by the district leadership in the flag placement Saturday and the flag retirement yesterday, made my weekend and today Memorial Day very meaningful. And, I feel that I was not alone in honoring those fallen brothers and sisters (we) remember.
Thank you, and especially the Scouts and their families. Here are three of my favorite memories today, from yesterdays Flag Retirements. Please forward to Marion, with my appreciation.
